Its suite of products enables businesses to track every aspect of their physical operations with data—similar to what we do for software today, but applied to tangible assets. It operates in a crucial yet surprisingly low-tech sector—you would be surprised by how often pencil and paper are still used to track the packages that arrive at your door every day. Samsara is revolutionizing this space with a strong emphasis on AI/ML and UX. The quality of its products is evident in the company’s remarkable growth over the past three years. I led the Product Design and Research team at Samsara from 2022 to 2023.
