NYU Langone

Back in 2015, I had the opportunity to work as the UX lead for the donations portal at NYU Langone Medical Center. Universities in the U.S. rely heavily on alumni and community donations, and NYU Langone is no exception. Being part of a project for such an iconic New York institution was truly special, not to mention working with their staff and the engaged community surrounding the center.

Over the year, our main focus was a complete overhaul of their donations portal. We introduced a crowdfunding section, designed the event pages for ticket purchases to their galas, and integrated community features to enhance the site's overall experience. It was a beautiful project, connecting the center's needs with the generosity of its supporters.

My role:

  • Research: Competitive analysis, user interviews, benchmarking

  • UX strategy: Personas, user journeys, product concepts, wireframes, user testing

  • Support to development: Knowledge transfer, reviews, QA

  • Project lead: Presentations to stakeholders

Total monthly visits YOY: +273%
P2P campaigns revenue: +100.3%
