My Moto, by Motorola

I led UX and Strategy for the Huge team in crafting the web admin experience for Motorola device owners. This dedicated area would allow users to manage their devices and personalize their experience directly from web browsers. It was an interesting challenge: to seamlessly connect the desktop and mobile experiences.

Back in 2014 there was a strong conversation about omni-channel experiences, but often, our phones didn't integrate smoothly with our desktops (actually they still don't.) Our goal was to design an experience that centralizes these functionalities in one place, ensuring it's as easy and enjoyable to use as the phone itself.

My role:

  • Research: Stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis, user interviews

  • UX strategy: Personas, user journeys, product concepts, wireframes, prototype, user testing

  • Support to development: Knowledge transfer, feature prioritization, reviews, Q&A

  • Account lead: Scoping and allocation, presentations to stakeholders
